Cabin at Grass River Retreat

This 500 square foot cozy cabin rests at the edge of the Popo Agie River on its own island. Sit on the front porch, fish, light the campfire, roast a marshmallow, or just relax. It has a queen bed and a full size sofa sleeper. Best suited for two adults and one child. This is not a kid friendly property during high water season (May-June.) The property is secluded from town and neighborhoods, yet just two miles out of town. Please note, this is not a stand alone cabin, the main house and the yurt are located on this 3.5 acre property. Fire pits, benches, and outdoor seating. Owners live full time on the property and may be on property completing chores throughout the day, such as mowing, gardening, and watering. We may be available in person or by phone. 2 miles from Lander and 6 miles from Sinks Canyon State Park. Parking for the cabin will be at the cut log before you arrive at the house. Snow sled or wagon available to bring luggage to cabin. Parking is across a walking bridge. $25.00 pet fee per dog. Maximum of 2 dogs. Dogs must be crated or taken with you. Dogs must be on a leash. Due to several incidents, we require all dogs on a leash on property. We do not allow non-guests dogs on property. We have llama, chickens, and lots of wildlife. Guests may be present in the yurt, please respect their privacy. Please wash your dishes before leaving or additional service fee of $25.00 may apply.
