SummerSalt is an original gem in Boothbay Harbor, built in the 1700s, renovated in 2020. This home has plenty of history as it was once a Gas Station, Cobbler, Bakery, and most recently, a Photographer's Studio. Rumor has it that the home was even once lost in a gambling bet and the grandfather of the gambler purchased the home back for his grandson. This 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home includes central air, outdoor dining on the deck and patio and an additional living space with tv and games. The space With an open concept and a large 7ft kitchen island that extends to a sun-drenched living room with plenty of windows to enjoy the view of the harbor, SummerSalt is a great space for entertaining, There is a large basement that can be used for games and hanging out with family and friends, enjoy snacks and cocktails or read a good book on the deck off the living space or dine alfresco on the back patio that includes a grill for some good eats. Our home is located just steps from Boothbay Harbor's iconic footbridge where you can walk into the quaint quintessential harbor town, visit shops, enjoy restaurants, live music, brewery or take an excursion on the water. Barrett's Park and Hendricks Cove are within a 10-20 min car drive as well as our favorite hiking trails, two of which follow the ocean (Lineken & Burley Preserves & Oven's Mouth).
