With several outdoor areas to enjoy, including a roof deck overlooking the Venice Pier, our home offers a quiet serenity that's hard to find in the middle of the bustling city. Whimsical elements mix with modern amenities, offering you the ultimate in comfort & relaxation. You'll feel like a local while enjoying the best that LA has to offer! The space This lush, peaceful home is located in the heart of Venice, one of LA's most sought after and iconic neighborhoods. Only a few steps from the beach and pier, our home is open and inviting, with plenty of sunshine and ocean breezes coming from the west. The home is a mix of classic beach house and modern LA style, with the original structure seamlessly blending into the updated addition. The interior zen patio, front garden and ocean-facing rooftop deck are complete with lush landscaping, a fire pit, and plenty of seating to enjoy that perfect al fresco meal. The front yard blooms year-round with beautiful flowers, and has a gate extending to a pedestrian-only walkway to the beach. You may not even realize you're in the middle of Los Angeles! The living room is classic and has several architectural details that bring to life the heyday of LA. The living room includes a fireplace, TV, desk and full pool table for your entertainment. The living area opens out to our zen patio, making it the ideal place to enjoy the surrounding nature even while you're indoors. The other end of the living room opens out to the front garden, which features a large outdoor dining table, BBQ grill, and plenty of additional seating. The kitchen is updated, featuring stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space. It also features a washer & dryer for your convenience. There's an adjoining dining room, with plenty of seating for your entire group. The first level of the home includes the two guest bedrooms, both featuring double beds and plenty of privacy. The lower bedrooms share a bathroom with clawfoot tub. The second level of the home is the primary suite, featuring a King size bed and en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower. This sun-filled room has tons of windows and a balcony with views of the ocean. The real crown jewel of this property is our sunny roof-deck overlooking the ocean. Located on the third level of the house, our deck features a fire-pit, chaise lounges, bistro table for two, a bar, and even a mounted TV for your enjoyment. The view is spectacular and overlooks world-famous Venice Beach and Pier. Lastly, our home features a private garage for one car, and additional driveway spots for three cars. There's an EV charge and beach cruisers for a ride down the beach bike path. Our house is full of charming touches and colors evoking the multi-faceted whimsy of LA. We hope you enjoy our zen oasis, and truly make it your own! Guest access You’re renting the entire house and outdoor area. Make yourself at home, as everything is yours to enjoy exclusively! Other things to note CITY REGULATIONS & RENTAL RULES (we don't make the rules, but we do follow them!) **No parties or large social gatherings of any kind are permitted at this location!** Neighbors have been notified that this property is a vacation rental and are encouraged to call a hotline to dispatch authorities to investigate any disturbances. If the city issues a violation, guest will be responsible for payment of any fine(s) and may be evicted with no refund. - Minimum age for primary renting guest is 25. - Daytime occupancy is 10 people. - Overnight occupancy is 6 people. - Maximum of 3 vehicles allowed. - The City imposes a strict noise ordinance for vacation rentals. No music is allowed outside at any time, including music coming from inside that can be heard at the property line, and no noise at all is allowed outside after 10pm. - Enjoy the outdoors of the property, but please keep children from trampling our beautiful landscaping. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE - Check-in time is 4PM, and check-out is promptly by 11AM. - Late check-outs without prior approval with incur a $250 fee, as we need time to get the house ready for the next guest. PETS - Pets are allowed (2 pets max, under 25 lbs), with a fee of $100 per pet. Pets must be approved and fee paid prior to check-in. Any signs of pets on the property without our knowledge will incur an additional $500 fee. - Please pick up after your pet in the yard and/or decks. NO SMOKING - We have a no smoking policy. Any signs of smoking in the house will incur an additional $250 fee. CLEANING Final cleaning after your checkout is included in your reservation quote. For stays longer than 6 weeks, guest will be responsible for the cost of a mid-stay clean every 30 days. Funds for mid-stay cleanings will be collected from guest as they occur. INSURANCE FEE for Vrbo & Direct Bookings (does not apply to Airbnb bookings) Guest is responsible for the service fee below, depending on length of stay: ● $99: 1-29 nights ● $450: 30-59 nights ● $150: each additional 30-night block We want to ensure you’ll love your stay in Venice.
