Located at Upper Glyn Farm on the edge of the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Sugar Loaf is the largest of our three pet-friendly cottages all of which have views across the Glyn valley to the west and the setting sun. It is ideal for those who love activity such as walking and on and off-road cycling but, with its quiet, idyllic setting it is perfect for relaxation as well. The space An ideal place for friends and family to get together this Cedar cottage was designed by award winning architects Hall & Bednarczyk and combines modern urban with country living. The extensive living area provides plenty of space for families or groups to relax, cook and eat around the huge bespoke steel and reclaimed wood table. All rooms benefit from spectacular ceiling to floor windows through which you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Glyn Valley. Open the bifold doors to spill out onto the terrace for some alfresco dining or to have a quiet drink and watch the sun go down. This spacious cottage has all you need for comfortable living with a well-appointed kitchen area, plenty of comfy sofas, including a sofa bed, three en suite bedrooms one with a bath. Luxurious crisp linen on deep comfy mattresses. The site has a separate laundry/drying room, bike store, and hot doggy shower. Guest access The Sugar Loaf is your own private space, we have a shared laundry room, drying and boot room for walkers and a locked space to keep bikes, in this area there is also a hot doggy shower to wash and dry muddy pups before they enter the cottages. You are welcome to walk the fields on the farm. Please ask John or Chris if you would like to meet the horses or chickens. Other things to note We have 7kW electric vehicle charging points available to guests. Our charger’s pair with the Pod Point App for ease of use and convenience. You will need to have a Pod Point account in advance of charging. Simply download the Pod Point App onto your phone and let us know what email you used to register. Charging costs 49p per kWh You need to bring your own charging cable.
