Romantic Cottage beside the River Barle

Ideally situated in the heart of Withypool for exploring the beautiful heartland of Exmoor. This romantic cosy cottage boasts rare and extensive river frontage in delightful gardens. The space The cottage offers both space and character with exposed beams throughout. Living room with huge wood-burning fireplace, an extremely well appointed large farmhouse kitchen, utility room and downstairs W.C. An exquisite sunroom (third bedroom if required) with double patio doors leading directly onto the riverside gardens. Upstairs are two large bedrooms, one double with antique brass bed and a further well furnished twin, with one double and one single bed. A pretty central bath/shower room with W.C. All rooms enjoying views of the river and gardens. Guest access The cottage has off road parking for two cars, plus a small carport ideal for storing equipment. Other things to note Bridge Cottage COVID19 protocol For the safety of our guests and housekeeper, we have devised a new set of guidelines set by PASC to help stop the spread of coronavirus. We politely request you to read and agree with these arrangements. Check-in The cottage will have a thorough clean before your arrival (a copy of the cleaning schedule is available if requested). Our new check-in time is 5 pm. The cottage will be left unlocked for your arrival and the sterilised keys will be left on the kitchen table. You will find the cottage windows open to ventilate after our clean. To reduce contact between fabrics and our cleaners, we have removed the option of supplying towels until further notice. Please bring your own towels. For your convenience, you may order your shopping before your arrival via email, phone, or post. Please see our attached form for ideas and information. We have had to remove all books, DVD’s, and games to help prevent the spread of Covid19, so please feel welcome to bring your own, but please do remember to take them back home with you. We will leave some ornaments in the cottage to keep the home feeling, but please DO NOT TOUCH these, as they will not be cleaned weekly. There is a smart TV where you can catch up and attach your equipment and connect to our free Wi-Fi. The password is withypool2021. We request during your stay that you air the cottage frequently and before you vacate the cottage on departure day, you strip all beds that have been used or touched and place in plastic bags provided along with any bathroom mats and tea towels used. All crockery and cutlery used throughout your stay are put into the dishwasher and the cycle started when you leave. All bins within the cottage are emptied into the appropriate boxes in the carport. All food is removed from the fridge and freezer and taken home with you or disposed of. Please open all windows to ventilate the cottage on your departure and the cottage is left unlocked and the keys left on the kitchen table. To allow plenty of time to ventilate the cottage before our housekeeper's arrival, please can we ask you to vacate the cottage by 9 am. After your stay. Please could you contact us if you develop any symptoms within two weeks of leaving our cottage, just so we can take any precautions necessary to help stop the spread of the virus?
