The space Within one mile, and walkable from the cottage, you'll find the shore of Seatown, from where the South West Coast Path rewards walkers with spectacular views of the dramatic coastline, including Golden Cap (1.5 miles) – the highest point on the South Coast. Heading further inland there are equally rewarding walks and impressive views. For lovers of culture and history, Lyme Regis is just 6.5 miles along the coast. Walk along its historic cobbled harbour, then meander through the charming narrow lanes, with their independent shops, galleries, and cafes. To the east of the village, the coastal road offers jaw-dropping views of Chesil Beach as it takes you 20 miles to the traditional, Georgian seaside town of Weymouth, with its award-winning sandy beaches, harbourside restaurants and wide variety of family entertainment. Various bus services connect the village to surrounding coastal towns.
