Albert Cottage, water frontage

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Albert Cottage built in the Victorian era is located backing onto the River Itchen. Centrally positioned 5 minutes walk from St Denys train station. Walking distance to Southampton centre. St Mary’s sports stadium. University of Southampton. This property is not on a through road. Always free parking on the road. A very quiet place to stay. You can even fish from the garden. All modern conveniences. Great gastro pubs locally. Our home from home. The space Albert Cottage is a two bedroom semi detached house with an open plan living room. Originally a three bedroom house but the back bedroom was quite small so was remodelled into an en-suite. Now two double rooms with a WC downstairs and a utility room. The garden area has a small patio looking out over the river. Many birds, ducks, geese and swans live on the river, so there's an abundance of wildlife to be seen. Fish can be seen swimming from the garden at high tide. You can even fish from the garden. There are two bins for rubbish. The bin with the blue lid is for recycling and there is a grey plastic box for glass. Central heating is timed and to adjust the timer an information booklet is in the boiler cupboard in the en-suite upstairs. Extra sheets for the beds if required are in the cupboard in utility room, with towels and extra duvets, pillows etc. Guest access You're most welcome to enjoy Albert Cottage, Garden, there's a bbq and wood and bricketts in the plastic storage box. Cannon balls too. Any wine, beer snacks drink that we leave behind is for your use. We stay in Albert Cottage when visiting Southampton as it's our home away from home. There should be tea, Coffee, washing powder, shampoo, bubble bath etc. use as you wish. The large sofa is extremely comfortable and can easily accommodate a fifth person.
