This friendly and pleasant apartment is located in a historic area of the city of Funchal, close to the Fortress of São João Batista do Pico as well as the Quinta das Cruzes Museum, two cultural points of our city. This loft consists of a bedroom with good sun exposure and a double bed. The open-space kitchen is fully equipped and has a dining counter. In this same space you will find a cozy living room, equipped with cable TV, internet and a sofa bed. From this space you have access to an outdoor balcony, facing the interior courtyard of the building, where you can enjoy your meals in a relaxed way while enjoying the good weather on the island. All areas of the property are on the upper floor with access via stairs. The house has a bathroom with shower and has a maximum capacity of three people. From this accommodation, you can get to know and visit the main points of interest of the capital of Madeira Island on foot. It is close to the Museum of the Crosses and the Fortress of São João Batista do Pico, public gardens, among other attractions and commercial spaces. In the city center there is a lot of information about all kinds of activities you can do during your vacation: cultural activities, extreme activities, nature-related activities… whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island! DIRECTIONS The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to schedule one with our local partners. It's cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. Bus stops are located near the building. ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. OTHER NOTES - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (e.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, high chair and baby bath if needed. There is a first-aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket in all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Tax will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist developments and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 years or older, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights for a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay.
