The first double bedroom, just a step down from the lounge, is a bright and welcoming space with windows on every side offering views of the private enclosed garden. Glass doors lead directly from the bedroom onto a patio with outdoor seating, perfect for soaking up the sunshine. The hallway leads to two additional bedrooms: a large king bedroom with a step-up to an en suite walk-in shower, and a twin bedroom. The property is complete with a spacious family bathroom. Ideally located for exploring the region, The Barn is just 4 miles north of Durham City, with its renowned Cathedral and castle, and 6 miles from the fascinating Beamish Open Air Museum. To the east, you’ll find miles of beautiful beaches. Stoneygate Farm offers horse riding facilities and private woodland trails, and by prior arrangement, you can bring your horse to stay in the stables for an additional cost.
