Created using psychological and scientifically informed design principles, the property has been carefully curated to reduce overwhelm and help guests relax. From the lighting and layout to the colours, fabrics, artwork, furnishings, and sensory considerations throughout the house, every detail has been chosen to create a quieter and more peaceful environment. The result is a space that guests regularly describe as cosy, calming, welcoming, and unusually relaxing. The house is ideal for families, groups, contractors, work stays, and neurodivergent guests seeking a more comfortable and sensory-considerate environment. Alongside large social spaces, the property also offers quieter areas to unwind and recharge privately. With multiple bathrooms, flexible bedroom layouts, and spacious living areas, The Big Cosy has been designed to help larger groups stay comfortably together without feeling crowded. Please note that several of the beds can be configured to suit your group: • The master bedroom super king bed can be split into two singles • One twin room can be configured as a super king • Another twin room can be configured as a king bed These are professionally linked zip-and-link beds designed for comfort and flexibility. The two double beds on the top floor cannot be split. Guests staying at The Big Cosy also benefit from excellent transport links, including accessible tram and bus services nearby, making it easy to explore Nottingham and travel across the city. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire detached house during their stay. The property is located at the entrance to a quiet cul-de-sac and benefits from both driveway and free on-street parking. The driveway can accommodate: • Up to 3 small or medium vehicles • Or 2 larger vehicles/vans Please be mindful of our neighbours and ensure driveway access remains clear for nearby residents. An illuminated key safe allows convenient self check-in, with access details sent prior to arrival. The Big Cosy is well connected for guests travelling without a car. The local tram stop is approximately a 3-minute walk away and provides direct access to Nottingham city centre and Nottingham train station. Trams operate frequently throughout the day. Nearby public transport options include: • NET Trams with step-free access • Accessible Nottingham City Transport buses • Easylink door-to-door accessible transport services Guests can also hire nearby e-bikes for an easy and sustainable way to explore the city. Other things to note We want every guest to feel comfortable, informed, and well supported throughout their stay. Our team is available daily if you need any assistance before or during your visit, while self check-in allows you to arrive and settle in at your own pace. To help guests settle in comfortably, we provide starter supplies of hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner on arrival. Longer stays benefit from discounted rates, and early check-in may be available on request depending on availability. To help maintain a clean, calm, and sensory-considerate environment for all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the property.
