The Old Stables

The Old Stables is a wonderful couples' retreat, beautifully styled and furnished, with a feature wood burning stove and a hot tub too, which invite you to relax and unwind, after days out exploring the beaches and coastline of Charmouth and Lyme Regis. The space Conveniently located on the edge of Charmouth, and just a 6-minute drive or cycle away from Lyme Regis, The Old Stables is a special single storey holiday cottage with all one could wish for when taking a break in this popular part of South Dorset. The cottage has been lovingly prepared and carefully furnished with great attention to detail, to ensure that your holiday accommodation is relaxing and comfortable, despite being just a small little gem. From the parking area, you stroll across the garden and through the pretty terrace where you will find the all-important hot tub, and garden table and chairs, before you take several stone steps down to the front door of your holiday retreat. On opening the front door, you step in to the open-plan sitting room with feature wood burning stove and comfortable sofa, where you can relax and watch television or enjoy reading a good book. The adjoining kitchen provides the space and equipment for preparing tasty treats, which can be enjoyed at the table and chairs, or outside on the garden terrace on warmer days. The attractive double bedroom is a lovely space, complete with a beautiful hand-carved sliding door for the en-suite shower room, a bright dressing table area, television, storage, and hooks for the bath robes that are provided. The Old Stables is perfect for a memorable break, and ideally situated for exploring the iconic Jurassic Coast, and popular seaside destinations along the South Dorset and South Devon coast. Please note: there are stone steps leading to the front door which may be difficult to navigate for those with limited mobility. Bedroom one With a 4'6 double bed and en-suite shower room, dressing table, stool and wardrobe. En-suite shower room With a walk-in shower, hand basin, and WC. Outside: Several steps lead up to the terrace area with mature planting. With a patio set seating two guests and a hot tub. A path through the terrace and fenced garden leads to the parking area.
