The nuances chosen for the Burning Pride apartment are vibrant and energetic. The renovation has given new geometries and visions to the spaces typical of the Salento cross vaults thanks to the innovative use of color. After passing the common entrance staircase, you enter a large living area. The sofa and cabinets make this space comfortable. The walls are colored in a tripartite way: a yellow base dominated by purple that completely covers the vaults. In the center, three large lampshades designed specifically for the space. In the living area there is also a niche that conceals an ancient well used for water supply. In the center of the main wall, the inscription "Cute but crazy" embodies an ode to creativity. This space is also ideal for reading or relaxing on the sofa, accompanied by a beautiful floor lamp. The kitchen is simple and functional. The cooking space is housed in an old wall niche, with green in two different shades and pink as the predominant colors. The white table with orange chairs creates a lively contrast. In addition, in this area of the house there is a total blue bathroom. From the kitchen, a private staircase leads to the terrace on the upper floor. The iconic yellow staircase leads to a terrace surrounded by historic stone seats, with a table and other seats in the center. This space overlooks the inner courtyard, making it ideal for spending evenings and watching the sunset in absolute freedom, or for having breakfast at the first light of dawn. The first double room, with single beds, is decorated in orange and deep blue. The color block created on the front door, with a large blue circle and a rectangle, does not go unnoticed, while the vault is painted like a sheet that tells poems. In particular, a passage by the Portuguese writer Saramago on the concept of travel was chosen, an element that unites art in all its aspects. The text emphasizes that "the journey never ends. Only travelers end,” inviting us to continue exploring and observing new details, to revisit places with different eyes, to grasp the nuances and transformations of reality. It is an invitation to continually embark on new journeys, both physical and mental, to constantly discover something new. The second bedroom, with a double bed, is decorated in shades of light green and purple, making it refined and elegant. A large lampshade in the center of the vault illuminates the room, while two lampshades on the bedside tables create an intimate atmosphere. The room has a niche in the wall that can be used as a closet and a balcony overlooking Via Stella. The second room has an internal bathroom characteristic of Salento architecture. The washbasin area is raised by a few steps and overlooked by a large circular mirror. The Burning Pride apartment is perfect for those who love contemporary design and art, offering a unique environment that combines elegance, functionality and a touch of extravagant creativity.
