Price includes tourist tax and - for hygiene reasons - free bedding. Within a 200-meter walk, you will find the beach, forest and dunes. You can walk to the center of Nes in just 15 minutes. With a fully equipped kitchen, a bathtub and super comfortable beds. The space Would you like to be able to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy nature when it's 10 degrees Celsius? You can do that on the terrace of our beautiful apartment! The dunes opposite ensure that you are wonderfully sheltered from the wind. It is a very sunny, spacious, comfortable and quietly located apartment, in a prime location in Nes on Ameland, where you can relax and find inspiration. The apartment also has large, wall-to-wall windows in all rooms and a spacious, wall-to-wall south-facing balcony. From all the seats in the living room and from the bedrooms, you have a phenomenal view of the dunes and the most beautiful skies (like a painting). The bus stops near the apartment, at the Duinoord bus stop. Within walking distance (200 meters) of the apartment, there is also a supermarket (at Camping Duinoord) that is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Very convenient for fresh rolls and croissants in the morning. The apartment is fully equipped; it has, among other things, a large TV, wonderful beds, a bathtub, and there is more than enough cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils and (good) pans for making your own meals. In short, optimal enjoyment! It can accommodate up to 5 people. Experience the tranquility, spaciousness, beautiful light and freedom of this lovely apartment! The apartment is just a 200-meter walk from the woods, the most beautiful beach and the nicest beach club in the Netherlands (Sjoerd beach club). At the beach, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset in the evening. You can cycle to the beautiful, historic village of Nes in just 5 minutes (or you can walk there in 15 minutes). From the apartment, you can regularly spot deer, which roam freely through the dunes on Ameland. Pheasants and rabbits also often pass by. In addition, you can see the most beautiful skies passing by from the apartment. On Ameland, you can still really experience the ultimate island feeling. It is a great holiday destination in any season. The beautiful boat trip - where you immediately experience the vacation feeling - of about 45 minutes from Holwerd to Ameland is easy to book via the Wagenborg passenger services website; there are many departures daily. You can bring a vehicle, such as a bicycle or a car. Changing the boat reservation, if necessary, is also easy. The apartment has a surface area of 91 m2 and a large south-facing balcony of approximately 11 m2 overlooking the dunes. Here, the salty sea air often blows towards you, and when it is dark, you can see how many stars are in the sky. You can park very easily and for free at the apartment. 2nd floor: entrance/hall, toilet with sink, 2 spacious bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. 2nd floor: landing, spacious living/dining room, kitchen, balcony of 11 m2. The balcony is sunny from the end of the morning until sunset. Of all the Dutch Wadden Islands, Ameland has the most varied nature. You can wander endlessly there (there are various hiking routes marked out in the dunes, forests and along the beach), and it has no less than 100 km of cycling paths. On Ameland, you can also practice various water sports, such as kayaking, surfing, beach sailing and (boat) rowing on the Wadden Sea at the Claas Sipkes rowing club. You can also go climbing and golfing, and there is a public swimming pool. The apartment's sunny and spacious living room features a large three-seater sofa, two fine leather armchairs, a large television with YouTube and additional (international) television channels, including a large number of German and English channels. There is also a DVD system with a radio. The apartment comes with free WiFi. The spacious kitchen has plenty of light and is equipped with a fridge with freezer, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a kettle, a Senseo coffee maker and a regular coffee maker. In addition to 4 box spring beds, consisting of a double bed and two single beds, the apartment has a separate, fold-out mattress and a dining room chair for a 5th guest. There are also two complete cribs and a high chair available. The bathroom has a bathtub and a separate shower. There is also a washing machine. On the spacious, facade-wide balcony, there is a garden set, and there is an awning. A separate parasol is also available. The apartment also has a washing machine, a drying rack and an ironing board. You can charge electric bicycles at the apartment. For the sake of hygiene, the apartment is rented including free bedding (i.e. 1 set per guest aged 4 years and older). The tourist tax (€2.04 per day per guest 4 years and older) is also included in the rental price. If desired, towels and tea towels can be rented on request. Smoking and pets are not allowed. Guest access The bus stops near the apartment, at the Duinoord stop. A beautiful boat trip on the Wadden Sea takes you into a completely different world. Leave the rest of the world behind you. On to Ameland. Also known as the Wadden Diamond, and for good reason. Four picturesque, historic villages full of characteristic commander's houses, other monuments, museums and restaurants, 27 kilometers of North Sea beach, the nature reserves 't Oerd and de Hôn, endless cycling and hiking trails, polders and salt marshes, forest and dunes, fresh and salt water: that is Ameland! When you think of Ameland, you might first think of the beautiful nature with miles of beaches and dunes. But Ameland also has a rich culture. The historic villages of Hollum, Ballum, Nes and Buren are characterized by beautiful old commander's houses (the oldest dates from 1571), which are reminiscent of the "golden age" of Ameland, and by the characteristic Ameland farms. And not to mention, of course, the shops and cozy restaurants. The atmosphere on the island is special and cozy. The island, with its approx. 3,700 inhabitants, is literally and figuratively in motion. Nature is constantly changing and is particularly beautiful in every season. Due to the many activities and events that take place on Ameland throughout the year, there is something for everyone to do.
