Nestled at the far end of our property, the cabin is surrounded by natural vegetation, offering a true sense of retreat. Despite its secluded feel, the soothing sounds of the ocean are always nearby, and a tree-lined public beach path awaits just across the road from our driveway—only a one-minute stroll from your door to the sandy shore. Walk along a shrub-lined gravel path, about 100 feet from the parking area to the cabin. For your convenience, a luggage cart is provided at the cabin to make settling in easy. We’ve designed Cedar Shack Cottage to welcome you into a beautiful, tranquil setting with mature gardens, vibrant rhododendrons, azaleas, and lush greenery. The space is thoughtfully arranged to provide privacy for both guests and owners, ensuring a peaceful and memorable stay. The cottage is fully self-contained, offers complete privacy, and includes two decks with a private hot tub, a propane BBQ, and Adirondack chairs. Inside, you’ll find a well-stocked kitchen with all appliances and a dining table for four. The kitchen provides ample space for cooking and comes equipped with a drip coffee maker, a coffee grinder for your favourite beans, and a starter supply of ground coffee, hot chocolate, teas, cooking oil, and spices. Chesterman Beach is conveniently located just across the road from our driveway, accessible via a tree-lined public path—a one-minute walk away. At the back of the cabin, next to the outdoor shower and surf rack, you’ll find a storage bin with folding beach chairs, sand toys for kids, and a spare BBQ tank. Other things to note You may smoke outside, but you are responsible for disposing of cigarette buds safely and adequately. A maximum of 4 registered guests, including children and infants, are permitted on the property at any time. We encourage guests to read the rental agreement before making a reservation to ensure a positive experience and avoid disappointment. The hot tub is exclusively for registered guests staying at Cedar Shack Cabin. NO EXCEPTIONS. Surf gear is strictly prohibited inside the cabin.
