Beautiful characterful farmhouse

A lovely Grade II listed farmhouse in a beautiful part of Wiltshire with far reaching views, set in idyllic countryside for walks and bike rides. The house has modern conveniences, but still retains a host of original features, it is the perfect place for friends and family to get together, with plenty of space for all, including a large playroom and garden. The space Our home sleeps 9 people comfortably. It is probably best suited to 4 adults and up to 5 children. There are 5 good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. A master bedroom (1) with king size bed, with stunning views, walkthrough dressing room and en-suite bathroom. Two twin bedrooms, one of which (bedroom 3) has slightly shorter than normal (183cm) single beds, the other (bedroom 4) with very comfortable, full length single beds. A single bedroom (bedroom 5), again slightly shorter than normal - 180cm long. And lastly, bedroom 2, with double bed and cot. With adjoined (not en suite) bathroom. Downstairs there is a large, fully equipped kitchen with farmhouse table comfortably seating 8 and Aga (turned off in summer months and with the option of electric oven & hob through out the year). The Kitchen opens through to a spacious sitting room and to the rear a sizeable and well stocked playroom. There is also a more formal dining, drawing room area at the other end of the house. There is a laundry room, boot room and downstairs toilet, which leads you to the garden. Lots of fun outdoors to occupy the children and young at heart. There is a climbing frame with swings and slide, tree house, sunken trampoline and in the summer months an above ground swimming pool/large paddling pool. Plenty of picturesque spots for the grownups to relax and soak up the view. We also have a few highland cattle, a miniature donkey and a pig in the field and orchard behind the house. Guest access Guests can access the whole house and garden. Other things to note We can cater for babies and have one permanent cot, as well as two travel cots. And x2 black out blinds. We have one high chair and a booster seat. We can accommodate up to two, well behaved dogs, but in the boot room and kitchen only. There is onsite parking for up to 4 cars. In the sitting room there is a 60 inch television with Netflix, Disney, Sky Tv. Easy access to London, either by car or train, close to Bath, Bristol and Bristol International Airport, Salisbury and Stonehenge.
