Luxury House - Heaven in the Mountains

*** X-TRA CLEANING AND DISINFECTION ESTABLISHED*** This is a Luxury house fully equipped to comfortably hold up to 8 people and make them feel like in "Their Home Away From Home." The property includes Wi-fi, Netflix, massage chair, treadmill, toys for children, board games, etc. Either for business or pleasure, enjoy nearby mountain peaks, beaches, lakes, crystal clear waterfalls, caves & rivers! You can also opt for scuba-diving, zip-lines, river tubes, surfing, hiking & much more! The space The property location is more accurately located utilizing coordinates in your map GPS. Coordinates will be provided when you complete your reservation. The house is located in the town of Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. Adjuntas is known by various names, “La Cuidad del Gigante Dormido” (the city of the sleeping giant) this is because of its mountain shape. Another name is “La Suiza de Puerto Rico” (The Switzerland of PR); the temperatures are low, with an average of 72°F. The last one and not less important is “La Tierra de Los Lagos” (Land of the Lakes), through the numerous and small water lakes in its mountainous terrain. The cozy house (one-story) has 3 bedrooms with 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, 1 twin bed, and 1 sofa. The master bedroom has a private bathroom. There is an additional Guest Bathroom in the hall (linens, towels & toiletries provided). There is a receiver area, Dining area Table with seating for 6 and 4 bar stools in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The Family room is equipped with all amenities Leather Sofa, Leather Rocking chair, Computer desk & chair, Treadmill, cable TV, Netflix, DVD/Blu-ray, and WI-FI. There are two TVs in the house 1 in the family room (cable, Netflix, DVD/Blue-ray) and 1 in the bunk bed bedroom (Netflix and DVD). There are air-conditioners in each bedroom, but the design allows the cool mountain breezes to flow through the entire house when the windows and doors are open. With the mountains' elevation, the temperature is much cooler than at lower elevations near the coast. We have found that we rarely need to run the air-conditioners because of the wonderful breeze that blows through the house. The house has one parking at the front of the house and more parking areas at the property's side. At the side of the property is located the patio, the terrace, and the property's back is closed for reparations due to Hurricane Maria damages. Please treat it accordingly. - Treat furnishings and beddings as your own. - Keep indoor furnishings indoors. - Bedding linen and blankets are to stay in the home. Missing pieces will be charged. - No Smoking allowed inside the house. IMPORTANT: We ask our guests to be considered in the consumption of electricity and drinking water. Due to our condition as a tropical island, these services' consumption is costly, and we always promote environmental protection. The air conditioners that are included in your stay are solely the ones in the bedrooms. Also, the island is in drought; use water in moderation. The house has water tanks for 1,250 gallons (4,731 liters) in case of a shortage. However, the island is positioned in the path of many of the tropical storms and hurricanes that cross the Greater Antilles during the hurricane season from June through to November. More than 90% of the PR Electrical Power Agency (PREPA) transmission and distribution system is above ground, making it particularly vulnerable to the high winds, torrential rains, and erosion commonly associated with tropical storms and hurricanes. As a result, power blackouts, voltage fluctuations, and surges are not uncommon occurrences during the hurricane season. To help minimize the impact, our home is equipped with lanterns and a gas stove. ****** Also, the island is in drought; use water with moderation. The only area in repairs due to Hurricane Maria is the back terrace and is not accessible for use.
