City escape - no car needed! Located in the adorable village of Croton Falls, NY in Westchester..walk to the Metro North train station, restaurants, shops and more. Completely remodeled Carriage Colonial House dating back to 1875 but completely modernized with all the comforts of modern living. Extremely close proximity to award-winning restaurants, North Salem horse country, and more. One hour from NYC. The space The property is located a short walking distance from the hamlet of Croton Falls. It has a modern kitchen with ample appliances and utensils to cook a meal for a family. The living room has a large comfortable sofa and a TV, ideal for a relaxing evening after a day in the city, at a show or traveling around enjoying the beauty of Westchester County. Two of the three bedroom are located inside upstairs in the main house. They are both double rooms with one queen bed and one king bed. They share a bathroom which has a bath and shower. Also in the upstairs bathroom is a washing machine and a dryer which are available for your use during your stay. The third bedroom, which is a queen with an en-suite is accessed through a separate entrance at the back of the house. It’ is an en-suite bedroom. If guests were traveling with young children this bedroom would not be suitable as there is no access to this room through the house. The house has two spaces for on street parking. It is then accessed by a series of six stone steps and a pathway, to reach the verandah. The property has many mature trees and is particularly beautiful in the fall. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property while they stay access code and WiFi will be shared the day before arrival. Other things to note Free parking is limited to 2-3 cars and there is steps up to the house. The third bedroom in the house is not accessible from inside the house. Guests are required to leave through the main door and access this room via a path at the back of the house. For that reason , this en suite bedroom would not be suitable for children. From the parking spots at the front of the house, the house is accessed through a series of steps.
