Newly restored 2.5-room apartment in historic building, centrally located in the old town of the picturesque town of Büren a.a. The apartment combines medieval ambiance with modern comfort in a unique way! It contains many historical details that have been carefully restored, including an original 16th century mural. The western part of the house dates back to the 13th century and the west facade consists of parts of the old city wall. The space The 2.5-room apartment on the second floor can accommodate 5 people and was completely redeveloped and renovated in 2024. Particular attention was paid to preserving the historical building substance wherever possible. Entering the living room, you feel transported back to the Middle Ages - but with all the comforts of modern times: a floor made of fir-block, carefully plastered walls, view of the marketplace with castle, the ancient ceiling beams as well as the eye-catcher of the room, an original medieval mural that has been extensively restored and now gives the viewers a sense of the transience of time in old beauty. In addition, the apartment has a new, well-equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom with shower tub, toilet, sink, washing machine/dryer. The bedroom with parquet floor contains a double and a single bed and leads to the small balcony with bistro table and two chairs. Note: In the living room, under the three ceiling beams, the room height is medieval 1.85m. Between the beams and in all other rooms, the room height is 2.05m and 2.4 m respectively. Guest access Mobility: There is a regional bus connection in Büren. The train station is 270 meters away. The neighboring cities can also be reached in no time by private car. The apartment has a reserved parking nearby which is available for our guests free of charge. Other public parking spaces are right in front of the property for a short parking period.
