Freshly restored 2.5-room apartment in a historic building centrally located in the old town of the picturesque town of Büren a. A. The apartment combines medieval ambience with modern comfort in a unique way! It contains many historical details that have been carefully restored, including an original mural from the 16th century. The western part of the house dates back to the 13th century and the west facade consists of parts of the old city wall. The space The 2.5-room apartment on the second floor sleeps 5 people and was completely newly expanded and renovated in 2024. Particular attention was paid to preserving the historical building structure wherever possible. When you enter the living room, you feel transported back to the Middle Ages - but with all the comforts of modern times: a floor made of fir wood, carefully plastered walls, a view of the marketplace with a castle, the ancient ceiling beams and the eye-catcher of the room, an original medieval mural that has been extensively restored and now gives the viewer a feeling of the transience of time in old beauty. In addition, the apartment has a new, well-equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom with shower tub, toilet, sink, washing machine/dryer. The bedroom with parquet floor contains a double and a single bed and leads to the small balcony with a bistro table and two chairs. Note: In the living room, the room height under the three ceiling beams is medieval 1.85 m. Between the beams and in all other rooms, the room height is 2.05 m or 2.4 m. Guest access Mobility: There is a regional bus service in Büren. The train station is 270 meters away. The neighboring towns can also be reached in a very short time by private car. The apartment has a reserved parking space nearby, which is available free of charge for our guests. Other public parking spaces are right in front of the property for a short parking period.
