The space With a number of unique and thoughtfully designed suites nestled around a beautiful private courtyard, we are sure to have the perfect space for you. Boutique style bedding, hypo allergenic linens, and an award winning Casper mattress all make for a super comfy bed perfect for a good nights rest. The Lounge is a fun and retro unit which happens to be perfect for kicking back! This space has a whole list of awesome vintage finds from an old school record player to a bunch cool board games and even a sweet dart board. Hidden Bath & Outdoor Spa. Our guests enjoy exclusive access to our luxurious cedar sauna and unique outdoor soaking tubs. This one of a kind experience is included with your stay and we encourage you to take full advantage of it! All 16 units are situated around a shared courtyard which features our 3 private soaking tub rooms and 1 shared sauna, all available 24 hours a day on a first come first serve basis for our guests only. Breakfast. In your refrigerator you'll find 2 farm fresh eggs, and on the counter you'll find steel cut oats with the coffee, tea and popcorn. If you are staying more than one night, and would like more eggs or other items don't hesitate to reach out to us. The Area. Welcome to Humboldt! We are centrally located between the two largest Old growth Redwood Forests in the world with Redwood National Park just 30 minutes to the north and Humboldt Redwoods State Park 40 minutes to the south. The Town. Arcata is hip! This cute and cozy oasis is within walking distance to Arcata's Plaza with local shops and amazing restaurants, great yoga studios, fantastic breweries and more. Humboldt State University and the Arcata Community Redwood Forest are just a three minute drive away. The Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary is less than a five minute walk down the street and the Ma'leil beach and Dunes are a fantastic adventure that's just down the road on Samoa Boulevard. Our close proximity to down town and HSU makes getting around easy. Explore the town in style on one of our complimentary vintage community bicycles. Have a drink on the covered porch or relax by the pond. Snuggle up & Netflix. Whatever your reason for visiting Humboldt, stay with us and make yourself at home! Other Things To Note: Pets. We are pet friendly! If you are bringing a pet please be sure to read our pet policy and notify us at the time of booking. Please note: Our $40 pet fee helps us cover the basic costs of cleaning and extra wear and tear these fur buddies naturally bring. Pet policy violations that incur added cleaning time will be taken from your deposit. Thank you for being a responsible pet friend! Tax. Arcata requires a 12% short-term occupancy/bed tax (required from all hotels and vacation rentals in Humboldt County.), and AirBnB does not collect this tax so you will see that adjustment to your rate to include that tax. The airbnb cleaning fee is there to cover the normal time expected for cleaning and preparing the room for the following guest. If any additional cleaning time is needed after a considerable mess is found in the room then we will charge $30 per hour for that added labor and cost. Guest access Enter the private courtyard through a coded gate. Unit #6 is on the east side of the property (walk straight through the courtyard). Guests have access to everything inside this unit, along with use of our bistro tables, and benches throughout the luscious courtyard. Please use the space, that's what its there for! Other things to note Parties are NOT ALLOWED anywhere on the property. Additional guests are NOT PERMITTED at any time. All of our units are NO SMOKING and guests will be charged $250 if evidence of cigarette smoking is found in the unit.
