We've thought through every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible and free you up to enjoy your visit with loved ones. The space The fully equipped kitchen is ready to fuel your adventures, with a comfortable dining room to connect with loved ones while you put meals together. Settle in the cozy living room for some Netflix and chill, or watch a DVD from our multi-genre collection, with the fireplace glowing. Get ready for the day at the makeup desk with lighted mirror in the walk in closet, full of natural light, or it’s a great spot to close the door and get to work if you must. Snuggle up in the luxurious king size bed in premium linens, watch a little Netflix with the warm glow of the electric fireplace in the main bedroom. The second bedroom offers a little whimsy for children and adults alike, with a custom painted wall mural and Pacific Northwest décor flanking twin and double beds with premium linens, a full closet and roomy armoire. Prairie Cottage also features a laundry room and powder room downstairs. Bluetooth speakers in the living room and main bedroom allow you to set the soundtrack for your stay. Lounge on the covered front porch and watch the resident bald eagle pair soar over the prairie... take the hammocks to the stand of Locust trees on the northeast corner of the property... pack some snacks and flop down on the picnic blanket out in the field... build a fire in the fire pit and cook a steak to perfection on cast iron over open flames... opt for the more civilized method of cooking on the grill... or just sit around the fire and catch up with your loved ones under the string lights. All household cleaners and detergents are fragrance free and eco friendly. Single use plastic and micro plastics are avoided whenever possible. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property. Self-check-in with keypad. Parking for 2-3 cars on site. Additional cars can be accommodated on a case by case basis, upon request. Other things to note The cottage sits on 2 acres of grass, in a very quiet neighborhood. The home is 350 ft. from a 2 lane highway, with a land berm in between.
