Here for you! The space The Forest Grove - Viewville Gardens is a quiet and cozy 800 square foot, one bedroom apartment, with serene modern design and beautiful natural light. It has a queen-sized bed and full bath with tub. It is a single-level space accessed via six entry stairs. Exceptionally well-stocked with thoughtful amenities: Guests can enjoy a hassle-free stay with everything from a chef-ready kitchen and premium toiletries to a picnic set and office supplies provided. Just a 4-minute drive, or about 20-minute walk, from St. FX, this is an ideal base for visitors attending homecoming, graduation, or other campus events. Just a 7 minute drive from St. Martha's Regional Hospital, we offer comfort and convenience for healthcare professionals or patients' families. The Forest Grove is well-suited for travel nurses and welcomes guests for both medium and short-term stays. This stylish and cozy retreat offers a perfect getaway with thoughtful touches like a picnic set for outdoor excursions and a well-appointed kitchen with America's Test Kitchen recommended gear. We offer a wide selection of coffees and teas as well as complementary snacks. If you have special dietary needs, please just let us know, and we will do our best to offer treats you can enjoy. Free parking is available to our guests. The sectional sofa is comfortable for sleeping; extra bedding is available upon request, and we can also provide an inflatable mattress. A high-chair and portacot is also available upon request. Please let us know if you are travelling with children, and we will bring additional age-appropriate amenities into the space. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion, hair dryer and hair drying towel are provided, along with bath salts. A clothes washer and dryer is available free for guest use inside the apartment. Unscented detergent by Nellie's is provided along with an iron, ironing board, air drying rack, lint brush, sewing kit and stain remover. We provide a smart lock for seamless self-entry. A portable air conditioner with insulated hose is provided seasonally for your comfort, and there is an exterior security camera on site. Architects, designers, and professional landscapers have worked together to carefully curate Viewville Gardens to ensure that windows on the property provide both beauty and privacy. The angles of sight lines, along with natural screening provided by landscaping, mean that you can enjoy the beautiful garden views freely. The Forest Grove is nestled in the trees around the corner at the far end of the property and is the most private space in Viewville Gardens. Blackout blinds are available to use if you wish. The Forest Grove is located off the main street, on a private residential lane used by five quiet long-term residents and our AirBNB guests who travel to and from primarily by car. Because it is off the main road, away from traffic, The Forest Grove is generally a very quiet space. There is a quiet family of long-term residents who live in the home above. You may hear muffled footsteps and occasional muffled sounds. We are 100m from a bakery/corner grocery store which is open 6:00am-10:00pm daily. It is an excellent place for basic supplies such as cream for your coffee or milk for your tea. They are known for their cinnamon buns which we often smell fresh from the oven and have good sandwiches wrapped and ready in the fridge. We are within a short drive to several beautiful beaches and provincial parks. Beach towels are provided. It is 16 min to Mahoney's Beach, 21 min to Arisaig Beach and Provincial Park, 24 min to Pomquet Beach/Park and 38 min to Cape Breton by car. Many guests will stay with us on their way to and from the Cabot Trail. We are located 1 hour 45 minutes from the Halifax international airport and 2 hours 7 minutes from the North Sydney Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal to Newfoundland.
