The space One private bedroom for guests, in a renovated farmhouse shared with the host and her son. The room includes a queen bed and has the option of a floor mattress to sleep a third guest or child. The home has a shared kitchen, bathroom with full shower and bathtub, and a shared entrance. Ample parking is available, and the home is set far back from the road, and surrounded by 50 acres of peaceful rural land with a swimming pond and beautiful open views. The property is easily accessible — just one turn off Highway 10. Guest access Guests have access to: • Their private bedroom(s) • A shared full bathroom • A spacious, fully equipped kitchen • Cozy common areas, including a reading nook • The surrounding 50-acre property • The wood-fired sauna (available for an additional $50/session — inquire at booking) Located just 8 minutes from a beautiful public freshwater swimming beach ideal for families (lake Mush-a-Mush), and within a short scenic drive to some of Nova Scotia’s most beloved coastal towns: • 10 minutes to Bridgewater • 20 minutes to Mahone Bay • 25 minutes to Lunenburg • 25–30 minutes to three of Nova Scotia’s most spectacular ocean beaches During your stay The host lives and works from a private office on-site and is available for any questions or support during your stay. You may also encounter her young son, who lives part-time at the house. We’re happy to offer a warm welcome while respecting your privacy. Other things to note Each bedroom sleeps 2–3 guests. Please be mindful that this is a shared household — quiet hours and respectful shared space use are appreciated. If you’d like to enjoy the wood-fired sauna during your stay, please let us know in advance. Sessions are $50 and subject to availability. Well-behaved, small dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis — please message before booking if you’re hoping to bring a pet. There are two friendly cats on the property. They live primarily outdoors but occasionally spend the night in the mudroom. We are a no-scent or very-low scent household!
