Start your excursions right outside the front door – whether for hiking in the Alps, swimming in the lake or for day trips to Interlaken, the Jungfrau region, Spiez and many more. So make yourself at home! Other things to note The "Faulensee Dorf" bus stop is a leisurely 4-minute walk away. There are buses every hour to Spiez (4 min) or Interlaken (18 min). During peak hours every 30 minutes. From Spiez, trains run in all directions and also trains directly to Zurich Airport. Faulensee to Zurich is about 2 hours. The boat station is also a 5-minute walk away. From here, ships go towards Thun or Interlaken. There is a village shop with the necessities within a 3-minute walk. Or various supermarkets in Spiez. There are also several restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Also perfectly located for winter sports enthusiasts: In the immediate vicinity, charming family ski resorts such as Beatenberg-Niederhorn, Aeschi and Schwanden-Sigriswil await you – ideal for relaxing ski days with a view. (Snow-dependent) If you like it bigger, you can reach world-famous winter sports resorts such as Grindelwald, Wengen, Mürren or Adelboden in less than an hour – with hundreds of kilometers of slopes, modern facilities and breathtaking mountain scenery.
