This charming house with bohemian-chic accents, newly renovated and fully equipped, awaits you in the heart of Perche, just 2 hours from Paris (by car or train). Our peaceful haven, set on a lush 7000m² estate, will charm you with its tranquility, unique decor, and the joy of scenic walks, outdoor activities, or pure relaxation. A playful and vibrant energy flows through the walls of this home, designed for my family, bursting with bold patterns and unique colors. Coral pink, ochre yellow, sage green… hues intertwine, creating a unique atmosphere inspired by nature’s palette. Every room holds a surprise, where humor is never far away. Casa Perchée is anything but conventional—it offers a one-of-a-kind experience in the heart of Perche. Here, nature thrives in every corner, and everything flourishes. The fireplace and its crackling flames add warmth to the space, highlighting carefully curated vintage pieces sourced from flea markets and antique fairs. Layout Ground floor: Fully equipped kitchen with a star-patterned design (fridge, induction hob, oven, sink, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, Magimix…), but no microwave. Spacious dining area with a 320x90 cm table, seating up to 10 guests. Cozy living room with a fireplace and exposed beams. 1 stylish shower room (with WC). Upstairs: 3 bright double bedrooms: 2 queen-size beds and 2 single beds (which can be combined into a 180x200 cm bed). 1 large bathroom with a 180x80 cm bathtub. Outdoor & Amenities Garden: Outdoor dining area with a table, 4 chairs & 2 benches. Lounge space with an outdoor sofa, Acapulco chairs & deck chairs. BBQ (to be cleaned after use). Kids' play area: a small cabin, wooden swing hanging from a cherry tree (max 70kg), board games & Mölkky. Important Information This charming stone house, rich in history, naturally stays cool in summer (no air conditioning needed). Despite meticulous cleaning, you may come across ladybugs or harmless little spiders—they’re part of the countryside charm. Bed linens & towels are not included, but available on request (€24/bed, including a full bedding set + 2 towels). We work with an external laundry service for cleaning and logistics. A perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, ideal for a peaceful getaway in the heart of nature. Guest access Access & Surroundings 📍 2 hours from Paris (15 min from the A11 highway exit) and 15 min from La Ferté-Bernard train station (direct trains from Paris Montparnasse, 1h47 journey, almost every hour). 🚶‍♂️ From the house: beautiful forest walks and cycling routes (bikes not provided). 🐎 15 min away: 2 equestrian clubs and the Bellême golf course. 🛒 Nearby shops: Intermarché supermarket (10 min, Saint-Cosme-en-Vairais). Large Leclerc hypermarket (15 km, La Ferté-Bernard) with drive-through & home delivery options. Local markets: Saturdays in Nogent-le-Rotrou and La Ferté-Bernard, Thursdays in Bellême. Bakery, butcher, pharmacy, tobacco shop in Saint-Germain-de-la-Coudre. 🎭 Explore the surroundings: Bellême (15 km): charming village, Bataille chocolate shop, restaurant Sa Verticale. La Perrière (20 km): picturesque alleys and Relais d’Horbé restaurant. Nogent-le-Rotrou (25 km): capital of the Perche region, castle, bustling market, swimming pool, bowling, cinema. Other things to note Access for Guests Guests will have access to the entire house. We happily rent out our colorful home for a few days or more, depending on your needs. Please be responsible and take great care of it. Be respectful of the space—do not move the furniture or equipment around. The books and decorative objects belong to the house; this is not a self-service rental. Kindly leave everything where you found it. House Rules & Departure Instructions In case of damage, please inform me immediately rather than ignoring it. Send me a photo so I can replace or fix anything as soon as possible. The goal is to ensure a seamless experience for the next guests, whether they are friends, family, or new visitors. Before leaving, kindly: Strip the beds and place used linens and towels in the entrance. Wash and put away dishes. Dispose of your household waste in the outdoor trash bin for quick collection. Tidy up outdoor furniture, fold lounge chairs, and clean the barbecue if used. Close all doors and windows securely. Important Notes Each bedroom has drawers or a dresser to store your belongings, but no closet or hangers are available. Parking: A maximum of two cars can be parked in the designated area in front of the house—nowhere else. Do not bring vehicles close to the house, as the cement-tiled terrace cannot support the weight of a car and could be damaged. We appreciate your understanding. Kitchen: Fully equipped, including a microwave and a Cookeo multicooker. Baby & child equipment: A BabyBjörn travel crib is available, but no high chair. A House with Character This is not a sterile, modern city apartment with minimalist decor. Quite the opposite—this is a true countryside family home, primarily used on weekends, featuring a cozy fireplace and a lived-in charm. Despite a thorough professional cleaning (5 hours) after each stay, it won’t be a perfectly polished hotel-like finish—this is part of the charm of a country house, with its quirks and occasional imperfections.
