The Hunter Creek Cottage is located in Klamath, Ca. Where the mouth of the Klamath River meets the Pacific Ocean in the heart of the Redwoods. The cottage has three bedrooms, one bathroom and sleeps 6 comfortably with 1 king, 1 queen and 1 double bed. Our cottage is known for being clean, comfortable and memorable. 7 minutes from the ocean, Klamath River and Trees of Mystery. Come enjoy hiking, fishing and relaxation. High speed internet included for distance learning or streaming for work. The space The Hunter Creek Valley Cottage has been fully renovated in 2018. Each room has been carefully decorated with touches of luxury and comfort to make your stay relaxing and memorable. The cottage comes fully equipped with all the latest amenities. The kitchen has all your cooking needs (spices, olive oil, sugar, pots, pans, utensils, waffle iron, crock pot, and much, much more) or use the BBQ grill on the covered back porch. Upon arrival you will find our farm fresh eggs, homemade breakfast item (this is based on what our homestead baker is making that day-muffins or scones or bagels, etc.) regular and gluten free pancake mix, butter, syrup, oatmeal, coffee and creamer, s'more fixings during non-rainy season and more. We supply soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and a lot of those often forgetting items (feminine products, qtips, toothbrushes and toothpaste). Our guests who stay 2 nights or more get a hot fresh Blackberry Cobbler and vanilla ice cream! The cottage is in the beautiful Hunter Creek Valley subdivision surrounded by trees and mountains. The Hunter Creek (dry in the summer) is a great place for hiking and exploring. The cottage sits next to a large property owned by your host. The additional property backs up to the Hunter Creek with trails for exploring. You may see our 2 female goats or miniature cows out grazing. Feel free to feed them apples or other fruits and veggies. They are super friendly and love to be petted. Guest access The entire cottage is yours for relaxing. A beautiful side yard with a picnic table and fire pit is a great place to enjoy your meals while admiring the mountains and trees. Other things to note Ring doorbell is by the front door. This is the only video security device on the property. We live in a very safe neighborhood. This is for our guests who arrive very late in the night to feel safe. We do leave the door unlocked for check in no matter the time.
