Welcome to Bittersweet cabin, we are glad you are here! Tucked away on a quiet 7 acres this cozy cabin has all you need for your weekend (or week) getaway. This one bedroom, one bath home hosts a king bed, one full bath/shower combo, fully furnished kitchen, gas fireplace and coffee bar. Enjoy your days rocking on our front porch. The campfire ring offers a great view, morning sunrise or evening sunsets. Let your worries flit away here in this quiet, peaceful haven. The space Hosted by Miriam and Bethany this rustic cabin will take you back in time with its wooden beams and log interior. It is a private home located on 7 acres. *There is parking for two vehicles there on site.. There are so many great perks of choosing Bittersweet Cabin. Farmville and Green Front Furniture are located only 15.5 miles away. The same for Longwood and 10 miles to Hampton-Sydney collage. There are great places to dine. The Fishin’ Pig and Press Club being our favorites. In the warmer months enjoy Wine tasting at the Virginia Tasting Caller or supper and drinks atop the Hotel Weyanoke at the Catbird Rooftop Terrace over looking historic Farmville. We are also located 40 minutes East of Lynchburg and Liberty University. The drive there is an easy one. If you are in the area for sightseeing and historical adventures, Appomattox, HighBridge Trail and Civil War Museums are all in the general area. You are close enough to enjoy the sights and sounds of town life, but at the end of your day you can slip back into your quiet retreat. The neighbors have dogs, so please stay on your side of Deer Ln. *We ask that there be no loud parties in consideration of the neighbors. Other things to note Just as a precaution if you bring children or elderly guests there is an open staircase that leads to the bedroom loft area. Bathroom, kitchen and living room are all located on the main floor. Also depending your phone provider, cell phone service can be spotty at the cabin. There is WiFi provided, so unless there is power outage or the internet is down you will have service for your whole stay.
