The Olde Wash House on Camargo
The Olde Wash House on Camargo
Description
Come and relax in our cozy, cottage style home with its own private entrance, surrounded by working Amish farms, just outside of town. This historic building was used as a Wash House when the building next door functioned as a Tavern. A short 15 minute drive to Historic Strasburg, Sight and Sound Theater, Antique Shopping, and more! Hiking Trails close by include Enola Low Grade Rail Trail, Pinnacle Point, Muddy Run Park, and Sickman's Mill. The space This is a small, studio-type space with bed/kitchenette/dining/living space in one open room, while the bathroom with toilet, tub/shower and sink is behind a privacy door. It is a private space, with its own entrance, private deck, gazebo access and guest-designated parking area. The setting is in the countryside with nearby, but quiet neighboring homes and farms. Guest access The main deck is a shared space, as there is a residence next to the guest house. There is a private deck off the back of the guest home, as well as a gazebo nearby you are welcome to. Other things to note If stairs are a concern, there are five steps that must be taken to get onto the main deck that leads to the guest home. There is a fence post railing on the right side of the stairs.
