This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Built in 1830 and lovingly renovated for now, it’s a slice of Vicksburg’s past. The Old Courthouse museum is visible from the back courtyard and the historic downtown is just a short walk. There’s a brewery and several unique restaurants just a few blocks away in the downtown with fun shopping close by. Casinos and the National Military Park are just a short drive. Some traffic noise and pedestrians are to be expected but adds to the experience. There are other neighbors close by and also businesses and other BNB’s. The home, although built in 1840 itself, has been completely renovated and restored to be comfortable for today. Some quirks are to be expected as it is old. And at almost 200 years old, still very cool and interesting. We hope you enjoy your visit.
