My 1887 two bed, two bathroom, house is located in hip and happening Logan Square, recently voted one of America's "coolest neighbourhoods" . The house marries 21st century luxury with quaint, period details and is just five minutes from the L (Blue Line), which runs directly to downtown (a 10 minute journey). You will have a two minute walk to Starbucks and some of the best restaurants in Chicago - faves include Quiote, Buona Terra and Haachi's Kitchen - are less than two blocks away. The space The 1300 sq ft house is detached and sits on a very quiet residential street, which runs to a dead end and means through traffic is extremely low. I have attempted to create a comfortable, home-from-home atmosphere within the two-storey worker cottage, a classic residential style of Chicago architecture. However, the house is not a relic: inside I have married contemporary design with the period architecture and also equipped the house with all the latest mod cons and gadgets, including WIFI. After a day out sightseeing, you will want to kick off your shoes and relax on my sofa in front of the TV and a wood burning fire place. Or perhaps cook up a storm in my modern kitchen, equipped with a Wolf range, dishwasher and steel fridge/freezer. there is also a beautiful secluded garden and with deck to relax. I also have a basement, which is kitted out with a large washer and dryer and all your other laundry requirements. For anyone wanting a quick work out, there is also a PreCor elliptical machine in the basement and plenty of space for storage. Upstairs, there is plenty of closet space for clothes in the two large bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom.
