From the moment you open the gate to this magical jungle Villa in awe you see a driveway surrounded by lush tropical gardens lined with coconut trees. As you walk towards the house you see a huge 1,000 sq ft patio and living area with traditional handmade Yucatan antique wooden lounge chairs creating an inviting space to hang out in the shade or have a meal. Then you will see a brand new designer Chukum pool with turquoise water surrounded by a custom 1,500 sq ft handmade stone deck and terrace The space Welcome to your own little piece of Paradise on the edge of Valladolid. This property is all yours! There are no other guests to share this space with. This home and pool was completed in December of 2024, its all new! As you open the door and see this open floor plan you feel inspired and refreshed. The living room has a luxury leather couch that is stylish and comfortable. You then see the King size memory foam bed with an extra topper that feels like a cloud its so soft. The views of the pool from the bed especially at night will make you feel inspired and magical. You will then notice a dedicated workspace with wooden desk and shelves with views of the garden. Working remote here will be inspirational. The kitchen is covered in exotic Brazilian quartz crystallo countertops. We have brand new modern appliances. A full size refrigerator with a filtered icemaker and water dispenser. You can drink the tap water as it is from a 30 meter artisan well then filtered and softened, the sent to the house and then additionally sent through reverse osmosis and then remineralization. You can cook and drink water right out of the tap. No need to buy 5 gallon jugs or wasteful single use plastics. You can fill you water jugs here before you go to the pyramids or cenotes. The Kitchen island with 4 barstools is great for entertaining or at the end of the kitchen you can eat inside or outside at the bar with retractable windows to give you a view of the beautiful jungle making you feel like you are at your own resort. Guest access You get use of the entire 1 acre property to yourself. No other guests or anyone else living here. Complete privacy! Other things to note You probably want a car although its only $150 pesos to get a taxi to town and back. There is really no need to sleep in Valladolid. From Villa Chakaruna its only 1.5 miles to town or 3 miles to the Central Plaza. Valladolid is very walkable from any of the free street parking around town. If you stay in town you will hear loud traffic, scooters, dogs barking all day/night, roosters, bike/car vendors with megaphones and possible very loud mariachi music all night long. Its more relaxing and grounding to stay outside of town and drive back to Villa Chakaruna where you will go to sleep and wake up to the sounds of the jungle and birds. It is a true paradise in special setting so close to town, but far enough away to escape the sounds ( that most tourists don't realize until they cant sleep at night) This is a jungle setting with raw jungle surrounding this property, so you can expect to see all the Yucatan wildlife if lucky.
