Charming Lakeside Cottage - 14 Miles DT Savannah

Our lakeside home is a newly built, well-appointed cottage home in the popular neighborhood of Rice Hope in Port Wentworth, GA. 14 miles to Downtown Savannah, 9 miles to the Savannah Airport, and 2 miles to I-95. 30 miles to Tybee Island Beach and 35 miles to Hilton Head, SC. Publix grocery store, Dollar General, liquor store, and Italian/Asian cuisine are all within the Rice Hope community. The backyard is not fenced. The space This is our private home. We have the flexibility to open our home to travelers as we can stay with family in the same neighborhood (directly across the lake). We have a strict No Pet Policy. Guests will be comfortable in the master bedroom suite, which has a queen-size bed, a smart TV, and a dedicated workspace (desk). The second bedroom has a full-size bed and a desk. You will have 2 full bathrooms, a dedicated guest closet, a laundry room, a kitchen with cooking essentials and counter seating, a living room, a rear patio, and a covered front porch facing Indigo Lake. The community offers a 35-acre lake for fishing, 3 resort-style pools (mid-May thru September ), and a fitness gym located at the community clubhouse. All of our guests will have access to these amenities by use of a key fob found in the laundry room. Shore fishing is accessible at several locations adjacent to our home. *Walmart of Rincon is just 6 miles north to purchase fishing supplies. **The lost key fob charge is $75. Guest linens and towels are of white cotton, hotel-quality. Guest essentials, toilet paper, and a first-aid kit are stored in the laundry room. The guest closet, adjacent to the laundry room, is dedicated to clothing storage for our guests (hangers and iron included). We know you'll enjoy your stay in our cottage home and enjoy the many amenities available to you while you stay at Rice Hope in Port Wentworth. Guest access Keypad entrance. Other things to note COOKING: This home has no dining room (bar seating only) and is not conducive to large meal preparation. Dinnerware for 4 people. Basics such as salt, pepper, and cooking oil will be left on the counter for easy access. COFFEE MAKER: (Keurig) is stored in the cabinet next to the fridge, and an assortment of coffee with sugar/creamer is available to you. LOCAL COFFEE SHOPS: Starbucks of Rincon and Dunkin Donuts of Port Wentworth. TRAVELING WITH A TODDLER/BABY IS ALLOWED. Must provide your own pack-and-play (basinet) for sleeping. POOL OPEN FROM Mid-May THROUGH Mid-SEPTEMBER. DID YOU FORGET TO PACK ESSENTIALS? Travel-size shampoo, etc, may be found on the top shelf in the laundry room, along with a first aid kit, hair dryer, and toilet paper. *Note this is a private home, and some groceries will remain in the refrigerator on the dedicated owner's shelves. The bulk of the refrigerator and freezer is available to our guests.
