Perfect for a relaxing getaway, our guest house offers stunning mountain views and a serene environment while still being conveniently close to Boulder and Denver. The space Privacy & Independence The guest house is entirely self-contained, with its own entrance, garage, and no shared interior spaces. Though attached to our two-story home, it offers a strong sense of separation and peace. While we have a few neighbors on 2–5 acre lots, the space feels distinctly your own—quiet, safe, and private. The Space Enter through your private garage and head upstairs to an open-concept living space with views in every direction. A balcony off the main area faces west, perfect for sunsets over the mountains. The king bedroom is a restful retreat with high-quality linens, ample storage, and top-down, bottom-up blackout blinds—offering full privacy and light control while still letting you enjoy the views when you choose. South-facing windows offer mountain views right from bed, making it a peaceful and inspiring way to start or end the day. A dedicated workspace makes it easy to stay connected. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and casual dining. We also stock oil, vinegar, 10 basic seasonings, Green Mountain K-cups, Stash tea, and Sugar In The Raw to make your stay more comfortable. Outdoor Features Relax on the private balcony or enjoy the turf yard near the entrance. Keep an eye out for a pair of bald eagles that are often seen flying overhead or perching nearby—they nest in the large tree just east of the property. Just past the irrigation ditch, you’ll also spot our neighbors’ Highland cows and friendly horse grazing in the adjacent pastures—a charming and close-up addition to the peaceful setting. Garage & Extras EV charging is available upon request. Your private entryway includes space for bikes, skis, or gear. Property Location To reach the guest house, you’ll drive about a mile on a dirt road, adding to the rustic charm of your stay. The property is nestled on Colorado’s scenic Front Range and feels wonderfully remote—yet you're just 5–7 minutes from Starbucks, 7-Eleven, and a liquor store, and 15 minutes from grocery stores and a variety of restaurants. The area is very quiet and safe, making it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the expansive views, open space, and calm pace of the countryside—all within easy reach of Boulder and Denver. Guest access The guest house has keyless access for your convenience and security. Your own unique code will be issued for your stay. Please note: The guest house is located on the second floor and is accessed via a private interior staircase with 18 steps, including a landing midway. The staircase is shown in the listing photos for reference. Other things to note We take immense pride in maintaining a spotless and welcoming space for your stay. We meticulously clean and prepare the guest house with the utmost attention to detail, ensuring that the space is fresh and inviting. To help us keep the house in pristine condition for all our guests, we kindly ask that you consider going shoeless inside.
