Camp David, Charleston’s Ultimate Experience!
Description
One of a kind experience .. Located on the Kanawha River with stunning views of the State Capitol. Camp David offers the sights, sounds and relaxation that being on the water brings. Our rental comes with the complimentary use of bikes, kayaks, SUP’s when available and an add on option of a pontoon boat rental. When the captain is available, there’s an option to take a pontoon ride to brunch, lunch or dinner and enjoy the sunrise, sunsets or the beautiful views of the mountains. The space To access the Houseboat, you must walk down 16 steps to the gangway and walk approx 50ft down to the boat dock. The houseboat has 2 separate sleeping areas, the back area the bed is already made but can be converted back to a couch. The front area is setup as the sitting area but can be converted and made into a queen size bed. The back area has a wall mounted 42 inch smart TV. We have 3 sitting areas 2 on the boat and 1 area on the dock. You can view your favorite movie or sports event on our outside 50 in mounted TV. Guest access Our guest have full access to the houseboat except the ability to move the houseboat. The Houseboat is stationary and is only taken out on special occasions by the captain. Walking distance to CAMC Memorial, UC Starbucks and several eateries. Other things to note When showering remember there’s a water storage tank so try to keep showers at a minimum (3min) For long stays or excessive use of water the 50 gallon water holding tank would need to be refilled which takes about 10 minutes from the outside. You would need to text or call the host in advance for availability of the paddle boards, kayaks or bikes, We will not be responsible for any personal items damaged or lost in the river .. I live across the street from Camp David, so if you should need anything, I’m close .. Enjoy!
