Nestled right on the river's edge, our heavy-duty canvas tent offers the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and comfort. Forget roughing it – inside, you'll find a plush queen-size foam bed, complete with nightstands and solar lights, ensuring a restful night's sleep to the sounds of the river. Available from May 15 - October 15. Wake up to breathtaking river views right from your bed and enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the flowing water from the Adirondack Chairs on the deck or at the picnic table. Spend your days fishing or simply relaxing in nature's embrace. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit for s'mores and stargazing, creating memories that will last a lifetime. There are also fun twinkle lights outside, making for a magical evening. This is the perfect getaway for a couple, solo adventurers, fishermen, or anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the everyday grind. There is no electricity, wifi or running water, but you do have great cell service (just in case you can't totally escape from it all), a solar shower, outdoor sink station and small NASA portable potty system. This unique rental bridges the gap between traditional camping and hotel stays. It allows people to enjoy the beauty of nature while having access to more comfortable amenities that make their experience more enjoyable. This is a fantastic private section of the Pine River, where the sound of mountain waters may be a rapid roar, or a gentle cascade, depending on the seasonal water flow level. Catch and release fishing is excellent in several spots along the river. This is a perfect spot to hone one’s fly-fishing skills. BRING YOUR OWN: Water (for drinking and washing), Camp stove, Coffee percolator, Camp dishes, Cooler, Bedding (including sheets, blankets, pillows), Towels, Toilet paper, Fishing gear, Bear spray/horn, Lighter, Flashlight. You can drive right up to the tent, making unloading your vehicle a breeze. Please use care when enjoying the firepit by making sure all ashes are completely out before leaving it unattended, by dumping a bunch of river water into the pit so there are no hot embers. Also abide by any LaPlata County fire restrictions that may be in place during your stay. Pets are NOT allowed at this property.
