Stunning Peaceful Lakeside Cottage

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage in Roscoe, NY, bordering the spectacular Catskills! Located on a 180-acre private estate, it’s the ideal retreat only a few hours from New York City. It makes a perfect base camp for exploring the western Catskills and relaxing, enjoying the beauty of our property. The cottage offers a compact full kitchen, king size bed, well appointed living room, deck, and lakeside stone patios. The space Inside our cottage contains all the amenities you need. Large TV, comfortable and tasteful furniture, linens, pots and pans, cooking utensils, flatware, and 2 wood burning fireplaces. Outside you’ll find a very large yard, private lake, private hiking trails, and a full length deck. Hiking, fishing and swimming are encouraged. Target shooting and hunting of any kind are strictly prohibited. Our property is expansive and is the last house on a Township maintained dirt road. 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is highly recommended in winter months, as mountain weather can be unpredictable. The surrounding terrain, excluding the yard is mountainous. Guest access Guest will have full access to our property with the exception of the areas around the owners house, garage and caretakers house. Your host will walk you through the details upon arrival. Other things to note We provide firewood for your first fire. Additional firewood can be found at many locations in town. Guests will need to bring charcoal if they intend to use the charcoal grill.
