Other things to note This is truly remote - nearest gas station is 45 min drive (one being built 15 min away in Bejuco). Fill up in Carmona, Carrillo, or Jicaral before arriving. Cell service is spotty on the drive, so download maps offline. Small convenience store and breakfast/lunch spot at the entrance to our beach road for basics and quick meals. Full groceries and other restuarants are 20-25 min drive. 4x4 recommended May-November for rainy season roads. Regular cars fine December-April. It is located less than 10 minutes away by car. • Other Supermarkets In Pueblo Nuevo, there is a mini supermarket with basic products, about 15 minutes away by car. Coyote, about 20 minutes away, offers several supermarkets, small eateries (“sodas”), and the well-known Río restaurant.
