This dog friendly basement apartment is tucked away in a quiet, walkable neighborhood and centrally located to anything you may need in the Richmond area. U of R - 14 min VCU - 20 min Henrico Hospital - 14 min St. Mary's Hospital - 18 min Our family of five lives in the house above the basement and we love getting to know our guests The space The entirety of this private space will be yours. It is a first-floor, basement apartment with a private entry right off of the shared driveway. We live upstairs but the apartment is completely shut off from us, giving you complete privacy during your stay. The main living and sleeping room is minimal but cozy with a TV, couch, ceiling fan, coat hangers, and plenty of outlets. The bathroom has a new vanity, new toilet, and shower. There is a small closet in the hall to hang clothes and your luggage. In the back of the space, the fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and a dining nook will meet all of your cooking needs. Guest access You will have access to a private basement apartment located in a private section our home. There will be access to a parking spot in our driveway and a private entrance to the apartment. Our self-check-in process means you have the flexibility to check in at any time! We value your flexibility and privacy but are also available via Airbnb messenger to assist at any time. Other things to note While we do try to keep our young children as quiet as possible, you will hear us from time to time. We do our very best to keep noise to a minimum from 7pm-7am. A white noise machine and fan have been provided and we are always happy to take care of any noise if you just let us know. We want you to feel comfortable sharing your feedback with us! Please only book if you are prepared to deal with unpredictable noise. Our children are young and while we do not spend much time in the room over your apartment, there may be times where they are running around. Some guests have expressed that they have loved hearing little ones upstairs and some have mentioned that it was too loud for them to work. Also, there is no central air system in the apartment. While it does stay pretty cool as it is a basement and it does get a tiny bit of air from the main system, some larger groups and guests with dogs have expressed some discomfort in the warmer months. There is a baseboard heater in the living and sleeping area that you will have full control of. There is a ceiling fan over the bed and additional fans are available upon request.
