The space The Bungalow Description This charming bi-level bungalow offers an immersive Rainforest experience with comfort and simplicity: Sleeping: Two single beds & a Single Sleeper Futon on the ground floor and a double bed in the loft with large windows and stunning Rainforest views. Private Bathroom & Living Space: A living area and a private bathroom. Outdoor Terrace: A terrace with hammocks overlooking the Rainforest. Eco-Cooling Design: No air conditioning - screens instead of windows designed to encourage airflow, and the Rainforest’s natural climate is about 10°F cooler than nearby Puerto Viejo. More Information & Amenities: Free Parking: Gated parking is provided for your car. Cleaning Fee Included: Your stay includes a cleaning fee, so you can relax without extra charges. Walking Trails: Explore the Rainforest with trails available on the property. Nature Experience: Immerse yourself in vibrant flora, exotic animals, and the rich sounds of the jungle. Optional Wellness Activities: Enhance your stay with yoga, guided meditation, or a nature hike available on-site. Important Requirements & Restrictions to Know: 4x4 Vehicle or Equivalent: The road to the retreat is rugged. If you have a 4x4 vehicle it is ideal. If you do not have a 4x4 we will provide you a ride uphill at check-in and downhill at check out for free. Additional rides will be at a cost of - $5 each way during preset times between 7.30am - 8.30pm. - Outside of these hours there is an additional fee and must be scheduled. - For $20 - 1 round trip to Puerto Viejo Rainforest Living: Expect to see monkeys, birds, butterflies, and other wildlife, as well as occasional bugs or critters. 20 Minutes to Town/Beaches: The retreat offers peaceful seclusion in nature, but Puerto Viejo and the beaches are just a 20-minute drive away. Walking Ability: The bungalows are located 50m to 150m from the parking area and require walking on uneven terrain and climbing stairs. Guests should be fit enough to manage this. No Kitchen: This bungalow does not include kitchen amenities. But meals are available at the restaurant or via delivery from nearby restaurants. Nearby Attractions: Puerto Viejo Town & Beaches: 15–20 minutes away. Cocles Town & Beaches: 20–30 minutes away.
