Apartment Benedict is an exclusive 80 m² designer apartment that combines timeless elegance with modern comforts – ideal for style-conscious travelers, young families, urban explorers, business travelers and workation guests. Accessible entry without lugging suitcases: The apartment is located on the ground floor and is almost barrier-free, accessible via a small step at the entrance door – perfect for those who don't want to lug heavy suitcases. Stylish furniture in a mid-century design: High-quality teak furniture – including a sideboard and a bureau by Danish designer H.P. Hansen – meets iconic mid-century design, such as the original Eames marble table. An atmospheric designer lighting concept with lights from Wever & Ducré and a high-resolution LG OLED G4 TV complete the stylish interior. Cooking like in a design magazine: The luxurious Valcucine kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, kettle, coffee machines and plenty of dishes, glasses, pots, pans and everything a cook's heart desires. Workation ready: A spacious workspace with a 32-inch 4K monitor, integrated camera, and USB-C and HDMI ports offers the perfect conditions for productive work. The ultra-fast 1000 Mbps Internet connection and multiple LAN ports in the living room ensure maximum stability – whether for video calls, streaming, or creative projects. A laundry mat is also only about a 2-minute walk away – ideal for longer stays. Sleep in style and comfort: In the master bedroom, a 180 cm wide Swiss Sense box spring bed awaits you for restful nights. The open loft (not headroom height) with a 120 cm wide mattress can be reached via a safe ladder with steps and railings (see pictures) – ideal for a third, possibly also a fourth person. Two guests can theoretically sleep here, but the space is limited and more suitable for one person or two "smaller" guests. It should be noted that the loft is bordered by a wooden balustrade that is not ceiling-high. Important: The two sleeping areas are openly connected, which is ideal for families – for business travelers or guests who want maximum privacy, we recommend occupancy by one person. Top location with perfect connections: The apartment is centrally located yet very quiet in the immediate vicinity of the Berlin Exhibition Center and is excellently connected to public transportation – U1, U3, various bus lines and train stations are within walking distance. Many charming cafes, restaurants and small shops in the neighborhood invite you to explore and linger, and the legendary Ku'damm is within walking distance. Just arrive and feel good: Access to the apartment is convenient and contactless via the Nuki system – with an individual access code, flexible at any time and completely without a key. Important: For legal reasons, digital check-in is only possible if ID details are provided in advance – this is required by law, especially for guests without German citizenship. Apartment Benedict – for anyone who loves design, values comfort and wants to experience Berlin to the fullest. Guest access Access to the apartment is fully automatic via a modern Nuki Smartlock. After successful online check-in, you will receive an individual access code that allows you to check in flexibly and independently around the clock – without a physical key or personal reception. The guests have the entire accommodation exclusively at their disposal. You enjoy absolute privacy in all rooms – just as if it were your own home away from home. Other things to note It is imperative that the number of guests be correctly stated when booking, as the apartment will only be prepared for the number of guests booked. In general, one towel and one bath towel are provided per guest, and bedding is prepared. We ask for prior notification if there is a need for additional linens for longer stays. We also ask that you let us know if the baby crib is needed so that we can provide it upon your arrival. To note: during the summer months, the homeowners usually turn off the central heating unless the outside temperatures fall below 18 degrees for several days. The hot water is not affected by this and is always available! If the outside temperatures are low in summer as well, we will try to activate the heating as quickly as possible. The apartment is not air conditioned, but due to the old building construction, it is pleasantly cool even when the outside temperatures are high.
