Other things to note WILDLIFE WARNING The lakeside is home to a variety of amazing creatures, including fish like the largemouth bass, sunfish, and catfish, as well as birds, deer, and insects. It is incredible for those who love to nature-watch from afar, but may not be for everyone. Use caution and do not touch wildlife. Avoid leaving food outside (including residue in grills or fires), and secure all garbage. It is also recommended to avoid bushes or long grass and to bring some pepper spray when going out for a hike or jog. We regularly perform pest control and take extra measures to prevent critters from entering our homes; please keep doors and windows closed to keep them out. NOISE We kindly request all guests to respect the quiet hours from 10 pm to 9 am. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! EQUIPMENT RENTAL Please note that a boat is parked on the property but it is off-limits to guests. Let us know if you need more information on nearby boat rentals. NO PETS This is a pet-free hypoallergenic space. No pets are allowed inside or outside the home to maintain a hypoallergenic area as much as possible for our guests’ comfort. FISHING AT LAKE OCONEE Fishing is permitted at Lake Oconee and managed by Georgia Power. Guests may fish from boats, banks, and public piers. A valid Georgia fishing license is required for anyone 16+. Please observe posted signage, avoid restricted areas, and note that private shorelines require owner permission.
