Newly renovated one bedroom guest house in mid coast Maine located on a quiet street just off route #1 in Edgecomb, Maine. Sit on the patio and enjoy gorgeous sunsets overlooking the Sheepscot river. This is an extremely quiet area that is 15 minutes to Boothbay Harbor, an hour to Camden to the north and an hour to Portland to the south. The immediate area offers fabulous local seafood, fantastic botanical gardens, and quant little villages like Damariscotta, Wiscassett and Boothbay. The space This guest house offers a comfy living room with a couch, ottoman, rocker and flat screen TV complete with a work station. The fully equipped kitchen has a full size fridge, dishwasher, induction cooktop, toaster oven, microwave and small pantry along with service for four of plates, cereal bowls, flatware, drinking glasses and mugs. The dining area has a table with seating for four, a gas fireplace and cabinet containing books, puzzles and games.. The full size bath features a walk in shower with a shampoo, conditioner, and body wash caddie, custom vanity, corner cabinet, hairdryer, plush towels, and water saver toilet. The bath also includes a small closet holding an extra blanket and an extra pillow. The separate bedroom has a queen bed, 2 night stands, a dresser, and closet with a hang rod and one shelf holding an iron, portable ironing board, beach bag, beach towels and laundry basket. The patio boasts a beautiful view of the Sheepscot river overlooking Wiscassett. There are 2 Adirondack chairs with a matching end table to enjoy the river views along with a barbecue grill and bistro set for your outdoor dining pleasure. Guest access The property offers a separate drive and entrance with keyless entry. There is a slight hill going down to the guest house with patio stones leading the way. Other things to note There are boat charters available with requests in advance. Wi-Fi available The walkway to the guest house slopes downward. The area around the guest house is uneven so caution is advised. No pets. No smoking. Indoor fireplace is gas for heat only, no cooking.
