Description
Stay in a 1750s stone-walled house in historic Old Quebec City, steps from all sites and restaurants. Fully renovated with three bedrooms and a working fireplace. Free parking for 1 car during winter (turns into living space in summer). Paid parking nearby. Setting of fictional character Émile Comeau’s home in Louise Penny’s Bury Your Dead novel. Also where the author lived while doing research for that book. It’s one of the stops (outdoor only) on the walking tour. The space 3 floors plus basement. Ground (1st) floor: kitchen, dining room, living room and half bath. 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms plus full bath. 3rd floor: family room with Murphy bed. (Note: access by narrow stairs) Basement: laundry room and storage. Guest access Entire house. Other things to note There are stairs to get to the upper floors, and the stairs to the top floor are narrow and a little steep (>250 years old). Same thing for stairs to the basement.
