Relax under the barn roof on Lake Neuchâtel

Far away from everyday stress in an idyllic residential area, on the coast of Lake Neuchâtel is our home with very special magic. At the rippling fountain and hidden in the former farmhouse from 1878 is our lovingly furnished apartment with a view directly into the barn, the fountain and the horse stable. There are three individually designed common areas available. A sauna can also be used after (10 per sauna session). The space Under the barn roof, there is a spacious accommodation of a special kind. Through a private entrance, you can reach the living area via a steep wooden staircase. The home has four independent rooms on 2 floors. The upper two rooms are connected by a gallery. All rooms are protected by the barn roof: - 2 bedrooms with one double bed each - 1 living room - 1 modern, fully equipped kitchen - 1 small bathroom with washing machine - 1 sauna, can be used by appointment (10 CHF per sauna session) - 1 terrace with seating and sofa right in front of the kitchen - 1 terrace under the barn roof overlooking the fountain with large dining table In the outdoor area there are: - 1 sunny terrace on the south side with barbecue - A storage for bicycles - Spacious car parking The surrounding area: Located directly on Veloroute 5 (Mittellandroute), the property is the ideal base for exploring Zealand and surrounding areas. By bike and also on foot, you can discover the south shore of Lake Neuchâtel with hidden sandy beaches (Grande Cariçaie Nature Reserve). Other destinations by car are Bielersee (Erlach and St.Petersinsel), Murtensee, the Pfalbauersiedlung in Gletterens, la Sauge for bird watching, vineyards, the caves of Mont Vully, the amphitheater and national stud in Avenches with local events. Within 30 minutes you can reach the cities of Bern, Neuchâtel and Fribourg by car, as well as the Papillorama in Kerzers. Our space is very suitable for riders who participate in courses or competitions in the IENA. The IENA is reachable in 6 minutes by car. Our parking lot is large enough for vans or large cars. Guest access Guests have a private entrance area. In addition to the 4 rooms (about 65 square meters) , a covered area of about 100 square meters is available for guests. Other things to note Horses and cats live on our farm. Well tolerated dogs are also welcome to vacation with us. In the village there is no shopping (exception is excellent ice cream, which is produced in the village). A very good bakery, as well as shops with local products and a Denner can be reached in 5 km. For bike travelers, we are happy to offer shopping assistance, depending on our availability. In the event that more than 4 people want to arrive, there is the possibility to rent a room in the main house after consultation. For families with small children, it is possible to request a travel bed with mattress as well as a high chair.
