Relax under the barn roof on Lake Neuchâtel

Far away from the stress of everyday life in an idyllic residential area, on the coast of Lake Neuchâtel is our home with very special magic. At the rippling fountain and hidden in the former farmhouse from 1878 is our lovingly furnished apartment with a view directly into the barn, the fountain and the horse stable. There are three individually designed living areas available. A sauna can also be used (10 per sauna session). The space Under the barn roof is hidden a spacious accommodation of a special kind. Through a private entrance you can reach the living area via a steep wooden staircase. The property has four independent rooms on 2 floors. The upper two rooms are connected by a gallery. All rooms are protected by the barn roof: - 2 bedrooms each with a double bed - 1 living room - 1 modern, fully equipped kitchen - 1 small bathroom with washing machine - 1 sauna, can be used by appointment (CHF 10 per sauna session) - 1 terrace with seating and sofa right in front of the kitchen - 1 terrace under the barn roof overlooking the fountain with a large dining table In the outdoor area there is: - 1 sunny terrace on the south side with barbecue - A storage room for bicycles - Spacious parking spaces The neighborhood: Located directly on Veloroute 5 (Mittelland route), the accommodation is the ideal base for exploring Seeland and surrounding areas. By bike and also on foot, you can discover the southern shore of Lake Neuchâtel with hidden sandy beaches (Grande Cariçaie Nature Reserve). Other destinations by car are Lake Biel (Erlach and St. Peter's Island), Lake Murten, the Pfalbauersiedlung in Gletterens, la Sauge for bird watching, vineyards, the grottoes of Mont Vully, the amphitheater and national stud farm in Avenches with regular events. Within 30 minutes you can reach the cities of Bern, Neuchâtel and Fribourg as well as the Papillorama in Kerzers by car. Our place is very suitable for riders who participate in courses or competitions at IENA. IENA can be reached in 6 minutes by car. Our parking lot is large enough for vans or large cars. Guest access Guests have a private entrance area. In addition to the 4 rooms (approx. 65 square meters), a covered area of another approx. 100 square meters. Other things to note Horses and cats live on our farm. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome to vacation with us. In the village there is no shopping (exception is excellent ice cream, which is produced in the village). A very good baker, as well as shops with local products and a Denner are within 5 km. For bicycle travelers, we are happy to offer help with shopping, depending on our availability. In the event that more than 4 people want to arrive, there is the possibility to rent a room in the main house after consultation. For families with small children, it is possible to request a travel bed with mattress as well as a high chair.
