"Simla" - Wolds & Sea

Nestled at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are well positioned to explore the nearby historic towns and villages, walks and cycle routes or seaside and the beautiful sandy beaches of the East Coast. Spilsby - 2 Miles Horncastle - 10 Miles Ingoldmells - 10 miles Chapel-St-Leonards - 12 miles Skegness - 11 Miles Louth - 15 Miles Lincoln - 34 Miles The space Simla is a refurbished 4 bedroom bungalow. We hope you find it like a home from home. It has 3 super king beds and a twin room, two living rooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and family space plus second lounge and conservatory/boot room. There is a large open plan kitchen with spacious dining area and adjacent open plan family room with television. It is an ideal adult social space. Through the door from the family room is a second lounge area so the grown ups can have their own space away from the children! The family room has a large flat screen tv and dvds as well as a library area and comfortable seating area. This is a large open space ideal for family gatherings and activities. There is a shower room which has a mediterranean feel which includes electric show, bidet, wc and sink. The family bathroom includes a full size bath, double size shower, sink and toilet. The conservatory is at the rear of the bungalow but acts as the entrance as the car parking is at the back of the house. It's a great boot room and houses some toys and games for rainy days. The property is serviced by a large shingle driveway and has ample parking for 5-6 cars. We are dog friendly and have an enclosed garden where your pets can roam free. At the end of the garden is a gate leading to the woodland/park at the rear. This area is a bit of a wilderness and you are welcome to roam free but we recommend children are supervised as the ground is a little uneven and there are potential hazards that would be very attractive to inquisitive minds (think climbing trees/wood piles, etc). We are situated in a tranquil setting which is rather rural so you will need a car in order to explore the local area. We think there is something for everyone. The Snipe Dales Country Park is located just down the road in Hagworthingham-for dog walks, cycling and beautiful views. The other direction is Gunby Hall a National Trust Property and then of course heading towards the seaside are the towns of Skegness, Ingoldmells, Mablethorpe and all the fun of the fair (as well as the best beaches in England) (in Mel's opinion)! Other things to note: If you are planning on visiting out of season please note the shops close earlier and so if you are planning on checking in later in the day, you may wish to pre-order a welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and breakfast materials to start your break off the right way! Please mention this when booking, what you would like and we will price it up for you. We try and buy locally produced fresh foods and will leave these in the fridge for you on your arrival.
