The space The listed Chalet Haamit has a fascinating history: originally built as a sawmill in the 19th century, the building was remodeled several times and used as a nail factory starting in 1921. It stood vacant since the 1990s. We carefully restored the house, which is located in a beautiful, secluded spot, from 2022 to 2024 based on historical photographs. The minimalist wellness extension blends almost unnoticed into the landscape. The newly constructed interior of the house is made of regional spruce wood, while the original exterior walls, made of rubble stones, are insulated with wood fiber and clay. A private hydroelectric power station and a solar roof supply the chalet with energy in an autonomous and CO2-neutral manner. High-quality materials, pared down to the essentials, with authentic character. Guest access Through the private driveway, you arrive at the exclusive property for your use only. The only neighbors are nature reserves and forests. The three-story house is entirely at your disposal: On the entry level, you’ll find the bedrooms, a game room (the house's only TV for Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart), a workshop for children's crafts or workations, and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. The garden level is a large open space with a spacious kitchen, luxuriously equipped with an induction stove, oven with integrated microwave, and a Quooker faucet (providing hot water, chilled, and sparkling drinking water at the touch of a button). Next to the kitchen is the dining area and the sofa landscape. Here, you'll also find a piano, a table soccer, and a hanging fireplace. The two spectacular panoramic windows bring the surrounding nature inside. From the garden level, you access the swimming pool (heated) with a waterfall, massage loungers, and a steam band. On the opposite side of the house, you'll find the sauna with a plunge pool in the mountain stream. The attic is a large open space with a fireplace, panoramic views, and a hanging swing: a place to read, play, exercise, and unwind. A charcoal grill can be found in the garage. Garden furniture and a fire pit are available in the outdoor area.
