It is literally "above" the El León de Palguín Alto waterfall, and very close to tourist areas of Palguín, Curarrehue, Huife and Caburgua. Access to the cabin is controlled. To get there you need to first contact Juan, 3 km before. After a welcome, he will guide you on your first arrival at the cabin and give you directions to drive the last mile calmly and safely. We strongly urge you to read the house rules carefully! We ask you to take care with the use of water, and be extremely careful with fire. And consider that each guest has to take responsibility for their garbage. This is how we take care of our Chilean forests. House Manual 1. Electrical System: The cabin is equipped with a solar electrical system. Please consider the use of devices that use a lot of voltage. Electric kettles and electric stoves are prohibited. 2. Firewood System: The cabin's heating works on firewood. A sufficient amount of firewood will be provided for approximately 5 hours of heating. If you need more firewood, you can buy it directly from us. Let us know if you'd like to purchase more firewood to coordinate delivery. If you come in summer, don't worry too much about this, you won't need it! 3. Fire and Nature Care: Please handle the fire with caution and follow safety rules to avoid hazards. Respect nature and make sure to put out the fire well before leaving the cabin or going to sleep. Outdoor bonfires are strictly prohibited. If you want to make a fire near the terrace or pool, you can use the barbecue. 4. Sheets and Towels: We appreciate you bringing your own sheets and towels. If it's not possible, don't worry, but please tell us. In winter, bring a little more bedding if you tend to be cold or don't trust your ability to keep the wood stove on all night. Guest access You can use the cabin, its terraces, the awning and the rustic pool installed. About 200 meters from the cabin there are other cabins and facilities that you obviously cannot use. Other things to note The space has 24/7 Starlink internet availability, with a very good network. The cell phone signal you could use is WOM and Movistar, which must connect to Starlink first via Wi-Fi. Other companies are not available with this system and I don't think you'll be able to get a direct cell phone signal.
