I Casciani is a charming farmhouse nestled in the Chianti hills, surrounded by olive groves, woods and vineyards, housed in a 14th-century convent; but for us, above all, it is Home: a place to welcome others and be welcomed, to feel at ease and relax, and to enjoy only wholesome food made with love. Here you’ll find private parking, air conditioning, WiFi, a stone swimming pool with salt water, a farm shop, a large enclosed private garden, a panoramic terrace and much more. The space A spacious quadruple room with an unforgettable view, situated on the second floor of the villa and spread over two levels: on the first level is the main bedroom with a terrace, a small sitting area and the bathroom. On the second level, accessed via a small spiral staircase, there is a dreamy double bed in what was, centuries ago, the bell tower. 53m² (spanning two floors, 2nd and 3rd floors, with private terrace) - Sleeps up to 4 (one double bedroom with terrace and a second double bed in the former bell tower) - Private bathroom with towels and toiletries - Air conditioning - WiFi, minibar, kettle, TV, fan. Guest access The ideal time for check-in is between 3 pm and 7 pm; if possible, please let us know your estimated arrival time. We recommend hiring a car, as it is virtually impossible to find drivers in the area and there are no buses. Country life is wonderful, but it can sometimes be a little more ‘inconvenient’. The access road is a bit steep, but no, it’s not as bad as it looks at first, and we’re sure no one will ever have any problems. Out of respect for wildlife and the local residents, we ask you not to exceed 10 km/h, especially near other houses. There are two private, free car parks available: one inside, in front of reception (5 spaces), and one outside, next to the main gate Other things to note Breakfast is always included in the price and is served daily from 8.00 am to 11.00 am in the main dining room; you’ll find a generous buffet featuring cakes, biscuits, croissants, salads, fruit, eggs, cheeses and much more. We use high-quality local ingredients and prepare fresh, varied specialities every day. Vegetarian and vegan options are always available. The restaurant is open on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm For hygiene reasons, food and drink purchased elsewhere may not be consumed on the premises; access to and use of the kitchen is restricted to staff only. Pets are always welcome! They may accompany you everywhere – provided they are kept on a lead – including the restaurant and pool area; however, pets are not allowed in the water.
