All bedrooms are located on the 1st floor and easily accessible, but for quieter moments, retreat to the majestic library loft, ideal for reading or writing, or relax in the TV/Rec room for ultimate unwinding. Adventure and tranquility abound. Hike the private trail to a three-story waterfall, ski nearby mountains, or simply enjoy the comfort of one of the many fireplaces. With radiant-heated floors, central AC, on-demand hot water heater and a backup generator, the Crow's Nest ensures luxury and comfort year-round. The main home features five bedrooms and five FULL Bathrooms and three HALF bathrooms. A private primary en-suite with a large soaking tub for an expansive experience. A sixth sleeping area is available in the loft; equipped with a daybed and it's own private bathroom. This library loft overlooks the "centerpiece of the home"... The great room opens around an antique European fireplace and offers a dining area with panoramic views and upright piano. The guest wing boasts four bedrooms flanking the TV/Rec room, which opens to a serene professionally designed garden. The "Perch," a private treehouse, offers spectacular mountain views, while the backyard includes multiple seating areas, a fire-pit, and trail access to the Doris Duke Preserve. Follow the meandering stone walls to find a quiet place to read or just breathe in the fresh mountain air. For your enjoyment, the house is equipped with two new smart TV's and a Marantz/Klipsch audio system that allows you to broadcast music from most phone apps to speakers located in various parts of the home. The Crows Nest was built in 2003 by antiques dealers who incorporated unique and precious artifacts from around the world. At every turn you will find beautiful and ornate fireplaces, stained glass windows, hand carved doors and wood panels along with other mesmerizing touches. The expansive compound spreads over 170 acres in the Hudson Valley. The Crow's Nest in Round Top, NY, is a magical retreat that harmonizes rustic charm with modern sophistication. Conveniently located near Windham and Hunter Mountain ski resorts and the towns of Hudson and Catskill, it’s the perfect escape for nature lovers and social butterflies alike. Additionally, a 2,500 sq. ft. event space with radiant heat and AC accommodates large gatherings or corporate retreats and includes parking for up to 20 vehicles. The event space is available upon request for an additional fee. Guest access This property is elderly and family-friendly. All bedrooms are on the 1st floor and there are no major steps into and out of the home. Other things to note The Crows Nest is perfect for retreats, events, corporate events and holistic getaways!
