Located in Banatul Montan, just 40–50 minutes from Muntele Mic and 5–7 minutes from the center of Caransebeș, this oasis of tranquility offers an authentic refuge for those who want to reconnect with nature, but also have easy access to urban facilities. Private fishing pond (fee: 35 lei/day – paid in cash at the location; the regulation is displayed at the location) Two leisure boats available for free for rides on the lake 🍕 Delivery to location We collaborate with two restaurants in Caransebeș – Restaurant Pedro and Pizza la Ovy – which deliver food directly to Casa Șoimului. Contact numbers and menus can be found in the kitchen. 🧼 Other things to note A complete set of linen and towels is provided, depending on the number of guests No daily cleaning services are provided during the stay Check-in is within the timeframe communicated at the time of booking. For an efficient process, please let us know at least 3 days before your arrival with your estimated check-in time (if it is not a last-minute booking) 📍 About the location Casa Șoimului is located in Caransebeș – a martyr city of the 1989 Revolution and the second free city in Romania. One of our hosts, Păsat Aurel, was directly involved in promoting freedom and dignity in those times. Guest access Upon arrival, you will be personally welcomed by the host, who will give you a small tour of the property – we will introduce you to each space, the available facilities and we will gladly answer any questions. We want the beginning of your stay at Casa Șoimului to be clear, comfortable and trustworthy. 🔑 At the end of the stay, the keys will be handed over directly to the host for a simple and stress-free end. 🎁 Bonus from the house: For reservations of at least 2 nights / couple, we gladly offer a bottle of wine from the host – a small gesture of gratitude and hospitality. 🕐 Check-in is within the agreed timeframe. Please let us know your estimated time of arrival in advance – especially in the case of a last minute booking. 🤝 We pride ourselves on open and prompt communication, and our average response time is among the fastest. We are here for you – for any questions, recommendations or needs that arise during your stay. Other things to note Our property has a maximum capacity for up to 6 people, divided into two units: A-frame Chalet and Main Chalet - shown in another ad. 👥 For multiple groups The location can accommodate up to 2 different groups. In this case, guests share the common areas: the kitchen, the bathroom, the gazebo and the outdoor area. Please specify at the time of booking if you intend to use the barbecue area or to fish, so that we can organize ourselves efficiently. 📌 If 2 separate groups are staying, all outdoor spaces – the gazebo, the barbecue, the green area – are shared, so please let us know in advance if you want priority access to certain areas. 🛁 Important: The bathroom and kitchen become shared spaces when the location is rented by different groups.
