Location, Location, Location… Within a couple blocks from “407N3” you’ll find some of the best hang-outs in Marquette: Blackrocks Craft Brewery, The Crib Coffee House, 3rd Street Bagel, Cafe Bodega, Downwind Sports store, The Peter White Public Library, The Landmark Inn, Snowbound Bookstore, Zero Degree Artists Gallery, and Contrast Coffee. The Superior Blue Link convenience store is right across the Street. If you wander a couple blocks further from home you can eat, drink and shop your way up and down Third Street (“The Village”) and Marquette’s exciting, revitalized downtown and harbor areas. 407N3 is just two blocks from the exciting start of the UP 200 Dog Sled Races in February. Your vacation home is just 8 blocks from the UP Health Systems Hospital. NMU is also 8 blocks away. The harbor is 4 blocks from “407N3”, and the sandy beach is 7. There’s a Coin-Op laundry 3 blocks down the street. Guests comment that the front porch is a real plus - a nice place to hang out on the comfortable furniture, and watch the comings and goings of Third Street. There’s convenient off-street parking in the back of the house, and Check-in is easy due to the use of re-programmed numerical key-pad entry locks. We know that you’re visiting Marquette to explore the town and its spectacular natural surroundings, spend quality time with local family, and/or conduct business - so we’ll stay out of your way. However, if you have any questions about the area, or need help with anything to do with the house, we’re a phone call or text away. Third Street is one of two "main streets" in Marquette. There's a string of retail, food, and drink establishments all within walking distance from 407N3. The other "main street" is Washington Street - which intersects Third just two blocks to the south. Washington stretches from the park down at the harbor westward through town. It also has a variety of shopping and dining options. Our place is a non-smoking home. The home also has a lockable 8' x 8' storage shed in the rear parking area that guests are welcome (and encouraged) to use to store outdoor recreation equipment. Please be advised that while we've noted that the house has Air Conditioning, this is only true of the second floor - where all three bedrooms are. The first floor is not air conditioned.
